Shimmer

Visited by heron, shimmer, and a breeze, Being sure to usher you in with ease. Life so sweet it may break my heart. Legacy of beauty. Playing my part.

Who am I to not follow through? Rise beyond what we thought was true.

Skimming on the surface at the edge of two worlds. When to retract? When to unfurl? Life so rich, I’ll sink my hands in, To the dark of the Earth, Unveil my skin.

Who am I to not follow through? Rise beyond what we thought was true.

Bespoke soul prints whispered by the stars, Vanishing shackles, chains, and bars. Allow the river to meet the sea, Crystal clear, Dissolving. Liberate what has been. Bring to life what I’ve seen. Climb the ladder to the upper room, Enter the tomb.

Cast the runes and then let go, Of everything you’re taught or you think you know. Here’s revealed the pillar of it all: In the darkest void, You’ll hear the call.

Who am I to not follow through? Rise beyond what we thought was true. Who am I to not follow through? Rise beyond what we thought was true.

Church
I heard a pact howled at the crescent moon,
Framed by thunder rollin’ o’er,
Sage and goldenrod and aster queens,
Reaching deep for their drink.
Cool Breeze.
Hot earth.
Life on life’s terms.
Star dusted skies.
Cool breeze.
I heard peace fall on the valley.
Heard rain fallin’ on the canvas.
There were jaguar dreams and indigo beams,
And me, reaching deep for my drink.
Can I sip myself up,
Every last drop?
Can I let the Great Mother ring me right out?
As I spiral and spiral, hands raised in prayer.
Smile beaming, one tear rolls down my cheek.
Down my cheek.
Now rest, rest, rest.
Darlin’ lay your burden down and have yourself a rest, rest, rest.
Cool Breeze.
Hot earth.
Life on life’s terms.
Star dusted skies.
Cool breeze.
Cool cool breeze.
I heard a pact howled at the crescent moon.
